Upper Darby Township is hosting a Satellite Voter Services Center at
The One Center
Upper Darby Municipal Building
100 Garrett Road, Upper Darby, PA 19082
This location will be open from:
8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays (from Monday, Oct. 21 through Monday, Nov. 4)
9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 26 and Saturday, Nov. 2.
This Center can help people apply for and immediately receive a mail-in or absentee ballot until the Oct. 29 deadline. You will not be able to vote at the One Center and they cannot accept ballots. However, there are privacy kiosks for you to fill out your ballot on site and get any assistance you might need. Once your ballot is complete, you may take your ballot outside and drop it in the ballot box located directly in front of the One Center at 100 Garrett Road.
Did you spill coffee on your mail-in ballot or did the dog get ahold of it or did it never arrive in your mail-box? The center can also assist voters needing to replace or correct lost or damaged ballots or envelopes.
If you received a mail-in ballot in the mail and you now wish to vote in person on November 5, you must bring your ballot to YOUR polling location ON ELECTION DAY (November 5) and surrender it. Do not throw your ballot away. You can then receive a new ballot and vote in person. You will not be able to surrender your ballot at the Voter Services Center.
Did you receive notification from the Bureau of Elections that something was wrong with your mail-in ballot and it needs to be "cured" to be counted? Maybe you forgot to sign it, it arrived without the secrecy envelope "naked", or you dated it incorrectly? You can come into the Voter Services Center to "Cure" your ballot until November 4th. After November 4th please go to the Main Voter Services Center in Media.
Completed ballots can be returned by mail through the U.S. Postal service or to any of the Delaware County secure drop boxes. Here is a list of Delco drop boxes: https://delcopa.gov/vote/ballotdropbox.html. Please note that you may only return your own ballot to a drop box unless you have the appropriate paperwork for those unable to return it themselves. If you have a disability that prevents you from applying in person for your mail ballot or delivering your mail ballot, you may designate an agent to deliver your ballot materials for you. You must designate someone in writing using the Authorize a Designated Agent Form or a form provided by your county.
The satellite center will not be open on Election Day, although the main center at the Delaware County Government Center in Media will be open that day.
