Upper Darby Township Condemns Political Violence and Recent Attack on Former President Donald Trump

Upper Darby Township unequivocally condemns all forms of political violence and the recent attack on former President Donald Trump. Such actions are not only illegal but also run counter to the principles of democracy and civil discourse that are foundational to our society.

As a community, we uphold the right to peaceful protest and expression of diverse viewpoints, but we reject violence and aggression as a means of political expression. Our thoughts are with Mr. Trump and his family during this difficult time, and we hope for a swift and thorough investigation to bring those responsible to justice.

Violence has no place in our political discourse or in any civilized society. We urge all residents to engage in respectful dialogue and to seek peaceful avenues for expressing their opinions. Upper Darby Township remains committed to fostering a safe and inclusive environment for all its residents.
