Fire safety and prevention is one of Upper Darby’s most important priorities and responsibilities. In accordance with Ordinance No. 3096, Section 705 fire safety inspections for commercial properties are required on a regular basis. 

The following fees have been established in accordance with Ordinance No. 3118  of the Upper Darby Township Administrative Code:

FIRE INSPECTION FEE SCHEDULE

Commercial Property less than 1,000 square feet - $150.00

Commercial Property of 1,000-2,000 square feet - $250.00

Commercial Property of 2,001 square feet or more - $250.00 for first 5,000 square feet, plus $25.00 for each additional 1,000 square feet
