Vacant Property Registration

Upper Darby Township is committed to addressing abandoned properties located within the township and to protecting residential neighborhoods from becoming blighted through the lack of adequate maintenance and security of abandoned properties. In August 2021, Upper Darby Township enacted Ordinance No. 3102, to ensure that vacant and mortgage defaulted properties located within the Township are registered and in compliance with all applicable codes. 

MuniReg LLC, a third-party company, has been contracted by the township to administer the vacant property registries, and there are two ways to do so:

2. For mail-in registration and payment, please send the completed form (and make payment out) to:
