Area Schools

Upper Darby is proud to be home to a wide range of educational institutions, from public schools to private schools to community colleges. Our schools are known for their outstanding academic programs, safe and healthy learning environments, and dedicated teachers and staff.

The Upper Darby School District serves the residents of Upper Darby Township, Clifton Heights Borough, and Millbourne Borough. Upper Darby’s School Board is independently elected and operates separately from the Township. Upper Darby School District has a long history of producing highly successful graduates. Upper Darby High School, two middle schools, nine of the ten elementary schools and a kindergarten center are all located within Upper Darby Township.

In addition to the public schools, Upper Darby is also home to seven private schools that offer a range of educational programs and curricula.

The college offers a wide range of academic programs, from associate degrees to certificate programs, and is dedicated to providing high-quality education and training to students in our community.

Upper Darby School District

Upper Darby School District serves Upper Darby Township in addition to Clifton Heights and Millbourne Borough. Upper Darby High School, 2 Middle Schools, 9 of the Elementary Schools, and the Kindergarten Center are all within Upper Darby Township. Delaware County Community College

Delaware County Community College's Upper Darby Center is located in the Barclay Square Shopping Center at 1570 Garrett Road. The center provides easy access to quality, affordable educational opportunities with convenient access to the SEPTA trolley line and SEPTA bus routes.
